Luka Large Duffel in Watermelon

I bought this to be my plane personal item but when it arrived, I was worried it was too big. Because it is big! I can confirm that it fits under the seat of a plane. Attached pic is under the aisle seat on Southwest--a smaller seat space for sure. My bag was not completely full. If it were, it may not have fit. But I don't think I'd ever want it completely stuffed as my personal item. I also bought the Luca medium to compare and I prefer the large for the personal item. The medium is not big enough for my preferences for being a personal item. I did put it under the seat and then kick it under more. The flight attendants told my kids that their bags needed to be more up under the seat but said nothing abt mine!

I purchased this bag based on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad that I did!

This bag has all the features I’ve been looking for; interior pockets, shoe sleeve, side pockets, long handles, removable straps, and it’s nice looking!

I used it this weekend as my “personal” bag, along with my carry-on. I will say, pending your airline, it may or may not be too big to count as a “personal”. Photos show it sliding under Delta First Class, Comfort+, and then next to the Away Carry-On (small).

The only complaint I have, is the interior zipped pocket I use for my laptop, it’s on the same side of the bag with the exterior pocket to go over the luggage handle. Because it’s on the same side as the laptop, it’s tight and hard to fit over the handle. That was the only thing I wish had been designed differently.

Other than that, highly recommend this bag!!
