I just used my Hue Carry-On for a 6 day trip to Belize and it was PERFECT. The spinner wheels are a smooth dream, it's easy to pack, feels lightweight even when completely full.
This suitcase survived:
- overhead bins of various sizes
- 2 trips on a Cessna Grand Caravan in the cargo pod
- a 7 minute walk from the main road to our hotel, down bumpy sidewalks and gravel
- 2 trips in the trunks of local taxis
What I packed:
- 1 packing cube with 3 dresses, 3 button downs, and a pair of pants
- 1 packing cube with 4 pairs of shorts, a rash guard, 2 tanks, 1 tee, and 2 swimsuits
- 1 compressed packing cube with two pairs of PJs and a bucket hat
- 1 compressed packing cube with undies and a sports bra
- 1 tiny compressed packing cube with a rain jacket
- 2 beach towels
- 1 sand blanket
- 1 pair of sandals (there were 2 but one didn't survive the trip...)
- 2 bras and 1 more swimsuit top
(I'll admit that my packing cubes are from Quince and not Calpak but they still fit perfectly which made me incredibly happy!!)
There's a small amount of scuffing on the shell, but the one scuff I rubbed at with a wet rag came off!
Also, the Luka Duffle was the PERFECT travel buddy with this suitcase.
My one comment on the color: the Mauve is definitely darker in person than the photos led me to believe. It's still beautiful and I still love it, but I might have gotten the Dragonfruit if I had realized that. The first two attached pictures feel the most color accurate of what I posted.
