  • Judy Kwon conducts business while sitting at a desk

    Born in LA, California Pak was brought to life by Edward and Judy Kwon. It started out as a modest collection of handbags and wallets.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Kwon + old Calpak backpacks

    Edward and Judy began to evolve the line, focusing on more travel goods like duffels and soft luggage.

  • Old Calpak luggage design + Calpak luggage stacked on top of each other

    The brand grew once more, introducing long-awaited hard-sided luggage to the collection.

    California Pak transitioned into CALPAK, when Jennifer and Roy, Edward and Judy's children, joined the family business. With a refreshed logo, and all-new products—the brand was reborn to reflect a whole new generation of travelers.
