Ambeur Carry-On Luggage

I ordered the gold colored carry on luggage. For the most part, it’s very stylish and could fit a week long trip worth of clothes. The compression zipper is nice along with the little pockets inside the luggage. The wheels were incredibly smooth and had no issue going every direction with it. Right away I accidentally hit it against my door as I left and it immediately left scratches on the luggage which is disappointing but it was my fault. The big issue I had with it was the dimensions. I didn’t have issues getting it through United but once I had it in the over head bin, it was wayyyy too large having it on it’s side. The bin wouldn’t close and the flight attendant made me readjust it. From then on I learned I could only fit the carry on if it was completely flat. Then throughout my 4 different flights, I would have to find an empty bin to lay it flat which I didn’t like because then I took up the majority of the of the bin space when bin space is always limited on fully booked flights. Because of the constant adjustments needed in the bin to move my luggage, it developed even more scratches. It’s a solid luggage but I did extensive research to find a small and sturdy luggage. After my first trip with it, I was disappointed. I will continue using the luggage because it was pretty expensive but don’t know if it will be worth it to bring on flights again.

Two summers ago, I did extensive research before going on a two week trip to Europe and landed on this carry on bag to accompany a travel backpack. I wanted something feminine with a hard shell and great wheels for European stone roads that could last me far beyond the trip. This worked SO well for me. Sometimes on the smaller airlines you need to check these bags but it was so durable it helped keep all of my things safe. I’ve used this on every flight I’ve taken domestically since because it’s so convenient and fits in the overhead bins in the American based airlines I fly. Always double check measurements for each airline but Ambeur Carry On was awesome for my purposes and I didn’t have to spend a million dollars like most websites were urging me to do. All I’ll say is I hope Calpak considers extending their warranties past 1 year since most quality brands do have a much better package regarding this. Overall I’m so pleased with how this luggage has stood the test of time either way. Thanks, Calpak!
