Terra Hanging Toiletry Bag in Amethyst

This is my all time favorite Calpak piece! I bought the Flame red one as a hotel/plane organization pouch for my trip to Spain and Portugal! I put everything I needed for the long flight in the Flame pouch. I packed it with a toothbrush, portable charger, wall charger, a neck fan, lotion, mini first aid kit, meds, contacts, gum, etc. There was plenty of room to add snacks I bought at the airport, AirPods, phone, and my glasses once I pulled the toiletry bag out of my carry on after I boarded the plane. This way I’m only digging in my backpack once during the flight and I have everything I need at my finger tips. I’m going to try to hang the pouch on the tray table hook in front of me next time I fly domestic, but the bag is the perfect size to tuck up under the seat in front of you even if you have a small personal item already under the seat. When I got to my hotel room, I emptied the Flame bag and I hung the bag on the lamp next to the nightstand, then I put everything in the Terra make-up case that I didn’t want to lose or misplace. I put my glasses, my retainer, my wallet, my jewelry roll, etc in the Flame bag each night so I knew where it is in the morning. This was a real life saver when we had to get up at 4:00 am to take a car to another destination! Love the bright red color, the organization, the slick exterior material and the size! Loved it so much that I bought the Terra White Sands cosmetic case also. For my actual toiletries, I usually prefer the Calpak medium…

I love this bag! It’s been on several work trips already and here is what I like:

1) it hangs

2) compact, but big enough to carry all my essentials

3) you can cinch down the strap after you snap it closed

4) wipes down easily

I bought this bag because the toiletry bag I have is big, and I only use it when traveling with my husband & son. I was looking for a smaller toiletry bag to use for solo trips when traveling. I usually decanter all my products whether I'm packing for a carry-on or checking a bag. My quart size Ziplock for liquids fits with plenty of room for other items. I do wish this was a zip-around closure instead of the plastic clip closure but I like the Terra collection and decided to give it a try. This little bag has plenty of pockets to keep smaller items out of the way for easy access. I had added a few pictures with the bag inside of the Terra Backpack Duffle for a better idea of the size and fit when packing. This would make a great gift for travelers!
